Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT) has awarded funding to Veterans Scotland to train and educate stakeholders in Scotland to better support the Armed Forces Community. 

FiMT has awarded £1000 to The Royal British Legion to fund a virtual conference, Understanding domestic abuse within the Armed Forces Community.  

FiMT has awarded £45,000 to King’s College London to continue its sponsorship of the King’s Centre for Military Health Research Veterans’ Mental Health Conference (VMHC) for three years from 2021 to 2023.

A new paper has been published today by FiMT and Future Agenda. The “Lifting Our Sights: Beyond 2030 – the impact of future trends on the transition of our Armed Forces Community from military to civilian life” Initial Perspective paper provides valuable insights into the future trends which may impact the Armed Forces Community in 2030 and beyond.

Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT) has awarded £7,500 to X-Forces Enterprise to research and map business membership organisations and trade associations as part of a drive to improve employment opportunities for ex-Service personnel within small and medium sized businesses.

Today, the King’s Centre for Military Health Research is holding its annual Veterans’ Mental Health Conference at King’s College London. Co-supported and sponsored by the Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT), this conference is providing a range of stakeholders including medical practitioners, third sector providers, academics, and government ministers with the opportunity to share knowledge, best practice, and recent research on mental health issues effecting the ex-Service community.
