Today, Clore Social announced the names of new participants on its 2020 Cobseo Emerging Leader Programme. This is an intensive six-month leadership development journey designed to strengthen networks within the Armed Forces Charity Sector and build agile, resilient, and generous leadership capabilities.

Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT) has issued a request for expressions of interest (REOI) to conduct research on Future Trends – their impact on the Armed Forces Community in 2031 and beyond, with a focus on transition.

The Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT) has awarded the Directory of Social Change (DSC) a grant of £125,825 over one year for the continuation of the Armed Forces Charities project.

Forces in Mind Trust has pledged to donate over £110,000 to SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity to support an external evaluation of their Glasgow Helping Heroes initiative, in partnership with Glasgow City Council.

Clore Social Leadership has announced today details of its 2020 Cobseo Emerging Leader Programme aimed at building effective leadership and better collaboration for those working in the Armed Forces and Service Charities sector.

Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT) has pledged support for six funded Specialist Fellowships on Clore Social Leadership’s 2020 Experienced Leader Programme. The one-year programme, starting in January, is open to individuals with six or more years’ experience as a social sector leader.

Research undertaken by the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), released today, to assess how engagement with, and by, families works during the process of transition back into civilian life and where it could be improved, highlights the need for more accessible and inclusive support.

From January 2018 to July 2018, the sector contracted by 4.5%.

Clore Social Leadership, together with the Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT), and Cobseo are delighted to announce details of over 20 successful emerging leaders who will participate in the second Cobseo Emerging Leader Programme designed for the Armed Forces charities sector and core funded by FiMT.
