Grant awarded to create an online resource for the UK Military Charities sector. The searchable online database was launched in November 2014.

A piece of research (being undertaken by the Centre for Mental Health) and the production of an employer toolkit aimed at the successful employment of veterans with mental health problems.

Research in to the efficacy of self-build, self-help projects for veterans who have experienced difficulties in transition.

A qualitative and quantitative piece of research in to the housing needs of veterans, current need, and provision. This was carried out by the University of York and launched in March 2018.

A 3-year pilot/employment project for veterans in Birmingham and Wolverhampton starting in September 2013. In September 2014 Roland Elcock House was completed in Wolverhampton.

A short study of the employment of ex-Service personnel and the perceptions of employers.

Randomised Control Trial of the Warrior Programme: an evaluation of the type of intervention offered by the Warrior Programme to those who need extra support during transition.

A review of the research evidence on the mental health of serving and ex-Service military personnel in the UK up to September 2012. The aim of the review was to identify the main gaps and recommend key areas for future research and covered areas relating to: the prevalence of mental health problems in serving and ex-Service personnel, the treatment needs and barriers to seeking help, the most appropriate services for those with mental health problems, issues concerning transition and resettlement to civilian life and the impact on families and the support available to them. The project consisted of a literature review, grey literature analysis and interviews with key stakeholders.

A mentoring pilot scheme to help Wounded, Injured and Sick personnel during their transition to civilian life.

A grant to fund business development & evaluation based activity, promoting the concept of the LifeLine project & seeking support from local authorities & their contractors.
